Od dvanaeste godine radi s ruskim pijanistom i pedagogom Konstantinom Boginom. Od sedamnaeste godine redovito koncertira \u0161irom svijeta. Solisti\u010dki ili s orkestrom, ostvaruje pijanisti\u010dke kreacije uvjerljive snage i nepobitne individualnosti, o \u010demu je zapisano:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stil Lovre Pogoreli\u0107a precizan je i dobro \u0161kolovan\u2026 G. Norris, <em>The Daily Telegraph<\/em>, London, 1988.<\/p>\n<p>Evo jedinstvenog umjetnika koji \u0107e, nesumnjivo, podijeliti mi\u0161ljenja. Diskutabilan za neke. Fascinantan za druge. Zanimljiv, u svakom slu\u010daju\u2026 A. Busser, <em>Nice-Matin<\/em>, 1992.<\/p>\n<p>Klavirski talent iz kategorije velikana\u2026 On je genijalan u svom sviranju bez nepotrebnog uljep\u0161avanja, ne nastoje\u0107i nikoga zavesti, \u010dine\u0107i sve da u\u0111e u du\u0161u svakom tonu i udahne mu punu vrijednost. Nema povr\u0161nosti\u00a0 ili lakih rje\u0161enja u njegovoj izvedbi, sve je predstavljeno jasno i sna\u017eno\u2026<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1993\">\n<li>Woetmann, <em>Berlingske Tidende, <\/em>Kopenhagen, 1993.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Izgleda da Pogoreli\u0107 ustrajno kre\u0107e uzbrdo&#8230; Neobi\u010dno je i dirljivo iskustvo sresti tako velikog umjetnika.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 J. Jacoby, <em>Politiken, <\/em>Kopenhagen, 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Hrvatski klavirski lav\u2026 Pogoreli\u0107 je pijanist s velikim P. Njegova tehnika je nadmo\u0107na a snaga medvje\u0111a \u2026 U \u201eSlikama s izlo\u017ebe\u201c kontraste daje toliko plasti\u010dno i sna\u017eno da mo\u017eemo gotovo dotaknuti djecu u Tuileriesu, osjetiti napad <em>Bydla<\/em>, do\u017eivjeti orgiju boja u Limogesu, \u010duti huk u Katakombama, a Velika vrata Kijeva postala su ve\u0107a i mo\u0107nija nego \u0161to smo \u010duli ikada prije. Je li ikome nedostajala Ravelova orkestracija?\u00a0 Ne, interpretacija Lovre Pogoreli\u0107a je dovoljna\u2026 Prokofjev (7. sonata) ostaje vjeran sebi u sva tri stavka\u2026 U tre\u0107em je potpuno nadvladao uznemireni tempo, sna\u017eno ali s osje\u0107ajem, sviraju\u0107i tako da svi ostaju bez daha. To je bilo nadmo\u0107no! H. Isto tako, Dolina Obermann se ne valja u sublimnosti te na mra\u010dan na\u010din iznosi sna\u017ene stvari&#8230;\u00a0 <strong>O. Bellamy, <em>Le monde de la musique<\/em>, Pariz, 2006.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>U Slikama s izlo\u017ebe Lovro Pogoreli\u0107 manje se trudi zavesti slu\u0161atelja nego ga voditi. Iz tog odsustva prisile, nije li vi\u0161e odan zapisu djela? Bez sumnje, zato \u0161to njegova dobro postavljena i odmjerena ekspresivnost, njegova \u017eiva harmoni\u010dna inteligencija (Katakombe), njegov smisao za ganu\u0107e i njegovo nagnu\u0107e prizivu intimnog (Stari dvorac) zarobljava. Malo bu\u010dnosti i puno\u00a0 fino izbru\u0161enih boja, gotovo bez na\u0161eg znanja, kroz prizivanje orkestra\u2026 F. Langlois, <em>Le monde de la musique<\/em>, 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Briljantni Lovro Pogoreli\u0107 u SC-u&#8230; sviraju\u0107i lirske, duboko introvertne, melankoli\u010dne, nabijene emocijama, kompozicije iz serije Godine hodo\u010da\u0161\u0107a na kojima je pokazao virtuoznu sposobnost postizanja pijanizma od kojih je publika zanijemila. B92, Tanjug, autor nepotpisan, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Lovri Pogoreli\u0107u u Hrvatskoj, a i izvan nje nije potrebno pokazivanje i\/ili dokazivanje: ovaj ingeniozni\u00a0umjetnik od formata<em>\u00a0<\/em>posjeduje zavidnu nutarnju puninu koju sa sobom donose zrele godine, a koje su u sretnom suglasju sa superiornom tehni\u010dkom spremom. Kao ni njegov \u017eivotopis, niti tehni\u010dku spremu Lovre Pogoreli\u0107a nije potrebno opisivati \u2013 ona se podrazumijeva. Njegov polo\u017eaj na na\u0161em sve razgranatijem pijanisti\u010dkom obzorju ne mo\u017ee ugroziti niti jedan novi, blistavi talent. Prije bi se reklo da je Lovro Pogoreli\u0107 jedna od referentnih to\u010dki suvremenog hrvatskog pijanizma. Takvog je umjetnika u\u017eitak slu\u0161ati, bez obzira kojem se repertoaru okre\u0107e: Brahmsu, Lisztu, Chopinu ili, kako na ovom koncertu, ruskim autorima&#8230;\u201c H. Novak Penga, <em>KLASIKA.hr<\/em>, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Glavni dio koncerta bile su, me\u0111utim, Lisztove Transcendentalne etide\u2026 Nema sumnje da takva djela zahtijevaju pijaniste kolosalne klavirske tehnike i sposobnosti da sve pove\u017ee. Time je Pogoreli\u0107 u potpunosti vladao. I dok smo u\u017eivali u tako rijetkoj prilici da steknemo jedinstveni uvod u jedno od najpoznatijih djela klavirske literature, u mislima nam nikako nije mogao izbje\u0107i izraz \u201eklavirski lav\u201c. To nipo\u0161to nije bilo \u010dudno jer je i u rje\u010dnicima \u201eklavirski lav\u201c opisan kao \u201evirtuozan, pijanist koji svira sna\u017eno\u201c.
